Who We Are
Vision & Purpose Statement

Grace Fellowship Church exists to glorify God through
worship, discipleship, service, and mission.

We glorify God through worshiping Him for who He is and what He has done for us in Jesus Christ.
We glorify God through discipleship by striving to surrender every aspect of our lives to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
We glorify God through service by using our spiritual gifts for the benefit of the Body of Christ.
We glorify God through mission by reaching out to those who are suffering under sin's dominion with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that being a Christian requires an active, living, growing faith in God through our Savior Jesus Christ. We believe in living out Acts 1:8 by putting our faith into action within our church family, in our community, our country, and the world around us.

Statement of Faith
We present the following articles as a statement of faith holding to the basic truths taught in the Bible which are common to our Christian faith and practice. Click here to read our statement of faith or download the PDF.

Leadership and Staff
Grace Fellowship Church is led and governed by an elder board, which includes the pastoral staff. Our Lay Elders for 2019-2020 are Jim Grady, Brad Morris and Carl Meyer.

Rob Ely Kyle Dwyer
Senior Pastor

Kyle Dwyer began serving Grace Fellowship as Associate Pastor of Grace Fellowship in August of 2018 and accepted our call to be our Senior Pastor in March of 2020. Kyle oversees both the youth and worship ministries here at Grace. His passion is to lead others in to the incredible joy of Christ through biblical worship, and to lead youth to a deeper knowledge of Christ through bible teaching and outreach. He also has a passion for expository preaching and teaching.

Kyle became a Christian at the age of 18 through the evangelism ministry of Living Waters. Kyle has lived in Eastern Iowa since the third grade, but received his education from Moody Bible Institute, completing a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies in December of 2015.  He continued with his education and received his Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies in 2019 from Moody Theological Seminary. Kyle served in a church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa before coming to Grace Fellowship.

Kyle married his wife Esly, in 2015 and they have two little boys, Matias and Mateo.  Kyle is an outdoorsman at heart and loves to fish and hunt with his golden retriever, and also loves to travel and experience new places with his wife and family.  He is also a forever student of theology and loves to read, with his favorite authors being R.C. Sproul, D.A. Carson, Tim Keller, J.I. Packer, and Charles H. Spurgeon.

Connie Mullins Jean Camarata

Jean Camarata started at Grace Fellowship in December of 2017. She admits the part-time schedule in the church office is perfect for her after many years of working in a busy office here in Waterloo. Jean has been married for 47 years to husband, Jerry, a retired Waterloo Firefighter. She has three children and six grandchildren, and loves every minute she can spend with her family. Jean enjoys reading, baking, and facetiming with her sisters on weekends. She feels truly blessed to be in a position to be of service to others.
