Local Missions

We partner with a local school, Lowell Elementary, by ministering to both the staff and students through various avenues. We provide penpals from our congregation with all second grade students, collect needed back to school supplies, back to school lunch for staff and end of the year lunch with students/penpals. We also adopt at least one family a year to provide Christmas gifts for all family members.

We partner with Love INC of the Cedar Valley by providing kitchen essentials to those in need along with financial assistance. Love INC networks with churches across denominational lines to bless those in need in our community.

We are in partnership with 7 other local churches to visit the Blackhawk County Jail every Sunday afternoon from 1 - 2:30. 2 men of the team meet with the male inmates and 2 women of our team meet with the female inmates. We meet in groups of 10-20 inmates at a time to share a message from God's Word and pray with them.
